This is what we woke up to this morning.

Very Gloomy Day!

It is dark, cold and raining. Good day to stay at home and be creative, which I am not!
ha at work.
The weather is suppose to take a turn tonight and turn into ice! Great ice storm 2009 !!
Not much going on in the Frazier household this week. Iam in a creative mood so I might have some pictures of maybe a few scrapbook pages I MIGHT do. Helping Katie with a school project on a President so maybe I can get to do a page or two.

Recipe Book

Here is a recipe book I made for myself. I 'am only showing some of the pages I have done. These are some of my favorite dishes I cook all the time and this way I can get to the recipes easily. One day I can hand this down to Katie.

MUST HAVE!!!!

Spotted this shoe at DSW this weekend and I have to tell you it was a must have.
And it was on SALE! the best part.

We had our first volleyball tournament this weekend in Memphis. We won all our games Saturday. Todays games were divided in Silver and Gold brackets. WE were in the Gold and we lost our last game to Arkansas Juniors so we got 2nd place in Gold. We sure wanted to win the whole thing but coming in 2nd was great! They played so good. Our next one is Jan. 31st weekend and it too will be in Memphis.

Katie's Room Makeover

Katie and I re-decorated her room this last year
Here is the results. She being a teenager wanted
the lime green walls so that is what we started with.
It turned out to look really good once all the furniture
and stuff was back in the room.
I made the fabric squares from 12 x 12 cork square that
I got at Walmart and several different pieces of material
from Hancock, Hobby Lobby. Then I cut the material a
little bit larger from the squares and stapled the fabric
on the cork. They turn out really cute.

THE Wii

OK---- I have to admit that this is our new addiction. Mom and Dad gave Katie and Jacob the Wii and all the attachments for Christmas and we are bowling, playing tennis, baseball, and horrible at golf every night. Jacob and Katie like the Mariokarts. I have not attempted that yet.
But yes, we are hooked. I' am sure the new-ness will ware off soon.
But until then HAPPY Wii!!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY KATIE

Today is my baby's birthday. Katie turns 14 today. It is so hard for me to believe that she is 14. We spent the day together shopping and we had dinner at Olive Garden. John and Jacob are at the hunting cabin for the night so it was nice to have her all to myself today.

HappyNew Year!
We just arrived back this afternoon from Georgia after spending 5 days with Mom and Dad.
We had THE best weather while we were there. It was close to 80 degrees this week. Katie and I went shopping one day and everyone had on flip flops and we thought it was so weird being the end of December and so warm outside.
Sunday, My Dad was not feeling well and passing blood so Monday my Mom and I took him to the doctor and they wheeled him in a wheelchair straight to the hospital. They admitted him to the ICU and started test on him. They did the whole Gastro testing- and I won't go into details but I am sure you get the picture and everything was ok. So they seem to think it was some medication he had been on that was the cause. He came home from the hosptial on Tuesday and I did get to spend more time with him yesterday before we left to come home.
Today my Georgia Bulldogs won their bowl game- !!! yea GOOO DAWGS!
