Tonight was the the OB tourn. for 8th grade volleyball. Lewisburg lost to Southaven. They played a good game but could not pull out the win. Katie had a good year in volleyball this year. She was Captain of the team. Next for Katie is tryouts for Memphis Juniors on Nov. 3rd. The competitive league. It's volleyball all year long. She loves it and I guess that is all that matters.

Sorry about the loss...but her love of the game is important and the lessons of teamwork and winning or losing with class and dignity will be those she keeps forever.
Katie definitely has had a good year. Good luck with the competitive tryouts, I know she'll do great.
Now isn't Katie just rockin those socks? The cutest volleyball player I know!
